LOS ANGELES, CA― Independent Filmmaker Orlando Cicilia III took home the gold this weekend at the 2023 Hollywood Gold Awards in Los Angeles, CA for his film “Hammer”. The OC3 Productions film won the Grand Jury Gold Award [selected by 7 jurors] for Best Horror Short Film, beating out 72 other shorts that were chosen for screening out of 2,100 submissions. "The growing support for Hammer is constant motivation to continue to pursue our intention of making this a feature film. This is an amazing journey and we are so glad to be able to share this with our family, supporters and the entire cast and crew” said Orlando.
"Hammer" stars Eric Roberts who plays an unsuspecting husband who walks in on a world of trouble. “Hammer” is narrative thriller filmed in a single-shot format (similar to “Rope”, “Birdman” and “1917”) and takes audiences on a short thrilling journey with our main character.
